ClikBooster AI may collect Shopify store information needed to provide the service, including store domain details, product information, product descriptions, product tags, image alt text, billing status, and app usage information.

We may also collect technical information such as browser type, device information, IP address, and log data to monitor reliability, improve security, and troubleshoot issues.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to provide app functionality, including auditing product content, generating AI-assisted suggestions, managing billing status, and improving merchant visibility in AI-driven shopping experiences.

We may also use information to maintain the app, provide customer support, detect abuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve product quality.

ClikBooster AI acts as a data processor on behalf of merchants when handling store content through Shopify.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell merchant personal information. We may share information with service providers only when necessary to operate the app, such as hosting, analytics, customer support, or AI processing providers acting on our behalf.

Our sub-processors may include OpenAI for AI generation and our hosting and database providers for secure infrastructure operations. These providers may process data in the United States or other countries where they operate.

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of ClikBooster AI, merchants, customers, or Shopify.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information only as long as needed to provide the app, fulfill legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When data is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

We automatically delete merchant data associated with the app, including sessions, billing records, and usage logs, after app uninstallation through the Shopify uninstall webhook.

Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards, including Shopify contractual protections and applicable transfer mechanisms.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Merchant Rights and Contact

Merchants may request access, correction, or deletion of data associated with their use of ClikBooster AI, subject to legal and contractual limitations.

We respond to Shopify customer data access and deletion requests through Shopify GDPR webhooks, even though ClikBooster AI does not intentionally store customer personal data.
